GlobalData Investments Acquires CeRaNetworks



GlobalData Investments Inc., global leader in datacenter investments, today announced it has acquired CeRaNetworks LLC, including all of its business and assets. CeRaNetworks operates three data centers in Los Angeles, it provides one of the best network and DDOS protection for APAC region. This acquisition enhanced Globaldata’s footprint in global SDN and datacenter markets.

The acquisition of CeRaNetworks will greatly enhance the datacenter and POP network capacity for GlobalData. After integrating CeRaNetworks assets, footprint of GlobalData will increase to 7 datacenters and 9 POPs across North America and Asian Pacific, with direct connections to all three major Chinese carriers, GlobalData will be able to provide the best network quality and DDOS protection in China direction for customers across the global.

Current CeRaNetworks customers will continue to receive the same services at the same pricing. In the coming months, GlobalData will be integrating the two company’s systems so that all customers may order services from all the combined facilities. By year end, GlobalData will offer enterprise-level equipment, infrastructure redundancy and superior SLAs across all US-based facilities. Current employees with CeRaNetworks will also be joining GlobalData’s team in the US.  

Eventually, CeRaNetworks customers will be moved to GlobalData’s portal, which offers remote management and gives customers full control no matter where they’re located.

GlobalData will integrate all dedicated servers, colocation and ddos protection services, customer’s current contract will not be changed.
